Mochi is a 8 month old kitten who unlike his older brother Gizmo, is full of energy and often gets into things he shouldn't! He's a very stereotypical cat meaning he knocks things over to get attention, chews on things he really shouldn't be, and sometimes tries to play a bit too rough with his older brother. He also loves to cuddle at times and doesn't meow much, but he does like to chirp at doors that are closed. He loves the color yellow, that chicken toy in the picture is his current favorite toy. He used to have a long toy that was also yellow but he seems to have misplaced it somewhere lol. Fun fact, he was the only male cat out of his liter! Though I feel bad for him, his older sisters would pick on him. Also he's the runt too. I feel that he likes me a bit more than he likes my wife though, he often will come over to me and headbutts my legs. He also likes to give love nibbles as well, which is a first for me. I never had a cat give love nibbles before!3 points

I've had the same phone for over two years now. I don't like to upgrade my phone super often.3 points

Greetings fellow cat lovers! I'm Ravenfreak, I'm a 33 year old guy who's a nerd. I've had at least one cat throughout my entire life, there hasn't been a moment in my 33 years of being on this Earth that I did not have a cat as a pet. I currently have a old cat named Gizmo who is about 16 years old and a kitten named Mochi who is about 8 months old. I can't imagine living a life without a cat! Anyways I seen the link over at Forumpromotion and had to join!3 points

I watch very little TV and the last show I watched was Duck Dynasty probably, but it might have been The Rifleman. I like those country-based shows like that. Anyway, another show I used to like to watch is Highway to Heaven.3 points

I love watching my pal get out his vacuum every time his cats start getting too obnoxious, they go hide for a good out before slowly coming back around.3 points

Mochi my kitten likes to give my wife and I love nibbles. Sometimes he bites a little too hard, but not enough to draw blood. I never had a cat do this before, but I've looked it up and some cats show affection by giving you gentle nibbles. Most cats who do this will do this their entire life, I don't mind it. I think it's cute actually! Sometimes cats will also do this if they're overstimulated. Mochi always purrs and marks you too either after or before he gives love nibbles.2 points

What are your experiences with dry food and cats? Personally, I'm very careful with it as i don't think the "off the shelf" brands are very good and they dehydrate your cat and cause kidney problems.2 points

Our Alice is funny because she will act up if it is not close to feeding time and she wants to eat. Alice will come sit in front of my wife (Toletia) and look at her and if my wife doesn't get up and feed her right away Alice will go chew plastic or go and eat hard food. Both of which will get my wife up to feed her and she knows it lol. How about you? Does your cat act up when it wants something?2 points

Per the title, I've seen cats go into sewers and come back out. Would you ever be afraid to pet a feral cat?2 points

Awwww.... that's too cool. Alice will give my wife (Toletia) love bites when she wrestles with her while Alice is under the covers. It doesn't hurt because Alice is just playing and not trying to hurt Toletia.2 points

Yes, my sister and her fiance went on a small vacation a few months ago and we had her cats for a week. It was awesome. I’m sure we’ll have them again in a couple of months when she’s go into labor. She’s pregnant and her baby is due in July.2 points

Congrats to everyone, we reached our first milestone today. Today we reached 1k posts! And I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to all of our members.2 points

As much as I know it can be tempting for people to feed cats dog food and vice versa, it could affect the cat and their health due to the different nutrition needs between the two. I have known dogs to steal cat food and cats to steal dog food before, it happens very little and should not effect the animal but it is wise to keep an eye on them to be sure they are not always doing it and eating what their body needs.2 points

We had a cat which was born with only one eye because her mum had Cat Flu when she was born. She ended up living until over 20 years old! Not bad for the "runt" of the litter.2 points

I'd take that as a challenge and get a heavier glass for them to try and move lol.2 points

Thank you both! I love my little Mochi, though I wonder if my wife and I should have named him Noodle instead since he's very long and lanky. xD2 points

Cat nip can make cats very hyper, and they love it. Do you give your cats any products with cat nip?2 points
-
True, but when you got bowls of snack food, becomes a long game of swatting the cat away or pull the bowl away.2 points

Cautious, but never afraid. My family home, which one of my brothers and one of my sisters still live in, used to have feral cats. We would "TNR" them, which is trap, neuter, return. We had 13 at one point. We got them all spayed and neutered (the only male for YEARS) and fed them all daily. My brother had pretty much solely covered the cost of all the cats over the years. There has been at least 20 total. There are now 3 left and two of them are in their mid teens. One is about 5. My sister feeds them twice a day, wet and dry food. Two of them come in the basement on hot or cold days. Any who wanted to were always welcome to, there's just a few left now. Feral cats don't have a long survival rate. Too many dangers out there. One of them was one of my 3 soul cats. Sunshine, my orange little girl kitty 🐈 Pic of me and her2 points

I have a co-worker that lived in a trailer park full of cats and would join others in leaving food out for them, this would lead the cats to petting them from what I hear.2 points

It really is surprising how cats can just slip in like that, though if you feed one like that, they may not get out lol.2 points

I don't have any pets at the moment. However, I have had dogs in addition to cats and also chickens (4-H project in 6th grade). I wanted to own horses and cows as a child, but it never came to be, but my dad did own a lot of quail.2 points

We had so many cat toys for Smokey when we had her. She loved toys when she was in the mood to play. I always remember her getting a mouse that had catnip in it for Christmas and she loved that toy, and even slept with it from time to time.2 points

Growing up we had budgies and cockatiels. My dad had one who lived for years which he called Mickey, he was a cockatiel.2 points

I really don't follow any tv sports, they are boring to watch and I hate watching people who get paid more than me.2 points

My cat has checked and had a look at the TV when it's been on. It's so interested because I feel like if I tell him that he's an animal we won't even know and feel strange. Almost like it's a person cat. But he's stared at it and knows what it is at least.2 points

My cats wake me up sometimes but I sleep at random times. They do lay on my bed almost every night though and they lick a lot. My cats are so amazing.2 points

I've seen cats start to act like little brats if you don't play with them lol. Working from home? Better make time to play with them before they play with your keyboard/mouse.2 points

My cats are pretty terrible at landing! They can jump high but can’t land for toffee 😂2 points

Did have my pal's cat jump onto the table once, shame the cat mistook my notepad that was hanging off the ledge of a safe place to land, it was not safe lol.2 points

I have seen videos of cats jumping in the air and clawing big dogs. And the dog runs away. P.S. I would run too If I was a dog getting clawed by a flying cat. 😂2 points

I’ve always wondered why some dogs are afraid of cats. Are the cats the boss and alpha? I’ve seen dogs just sit there and bark at cats while the cats just sit there like they’re not bothered🤣🤣2 points
