Soulwatcher
I have a very sad story about my cat named Frankey. His bladder stopped up and he was howling because he was in so much pain. I took him to the vet and he had crystals so bad that the vet said he would need to be turned into a female and there was no guarantee that it would work. So I ended up having to put him down. I cried over him for a long time. He was my little buddy. How about you? Have you ever had your cat let you know that it needed to go to the vet? Elseb
I haven't had that but i have had a cat that pretty much made us aware that she was dying and she was ready to go. She went to a quiet place and after a bit of attention, she passed away. It was really sad.
Soulwatcher
Awwwww........ that's so sad, I am sorry for your loss. How old was she? Also, it's really good that she was able to feel your love before she passed on.
Demon_skeith
Sorry to hear that, but what did the vet mean by turn him into a female?

It is conducted on a male cat suffering from persistent urinary problems — and is technically called a "perineal urethrostomy, in other veterinary clinics, it's often referred to as a "sex change." Without getting too graphic, the operation involves the removal of a tom's cathood, a shortening of the urethra, and the creation of a new opening that is similar to a female cat's. Sounds like that might be too much for the cat to endure 😞

Or would have done it for sure if he would have been ok.
